Ind vs Out While Australia initially had a 0-1 lead, India’s draw in the Test series and then beating the hosts 2-1 in the series is being lauded in the sports world. Australia’s head coach Justin Langer himself has praised the Indian team.
After winning the fourth and final Test, the Indian players were overjoyed. The Australian coaches also said that the team’s victory was incomparable.
The Australian team is the talk of the sports world for their aggressive style, sledging. However, the appreciation of the young Indian players, the playing XI and all the Indians by the coaches of the same team is now putting them on the ‘favorite list’ of others. After Australia lost to India in Brisbane, Langer explained in very nice words what he had learned from the team.
‘All the credit for this (victory) goes to India. We learned a lot from this. You can’t take anything lightly. Basically, never underestimate Indians’, he said, underlining the importance of getting a place in the Indian team’s playing XI out of a population of billions. Langar gave such a spontaneous response that he did not appreciate Indians.
🗣 “Pant’s innings reminded me a bit of Ben Stokes at Headingley actually.
