Meanwhile, in the South American country Ecuador, the case of applying fake corona vaccine to about 70000 people has been revealed. A private clinic with vaccine applied three doses to the people for complete protection. In which about 1100 rupees ($ 15) was charged for one dose.
A fake vaccine in the capital itself
As reported by Time, the case is of Ecuador’s capital Quito. Quito police chief of security Cesar Díaz said in his statement that the clinic was charging a fee of about $ 15 for giving people a dose of an unknown substance. People were being told that after getting three shots of this vaccine, they would become immune to the corona virus.
70000 people were given fake vaccine
The police have also recorded the statements of those who have got fake vaccine doses done at that center. Police said that about 70000 people have been given fake vaccine doses. The police sealed that center and apprehended the accused. However, the owner of this clinic claimed that he was giving people doses of vitamins and serum to replace people with vaccines.
Ecuador is Corona’s hotspot in South America
Ecuador remains a hotspot of the Corona virus throughout the South American continent. So far, 14,668 deaths have been reported from Corona virus infection in this country, while 242,146 people have been infected. Ecuador has approved the Corona vaccine of Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Whereas, the Health Ministry here has announced a free dose of Corona vaccine to all adults in the country by the end of this year.
