Jai Shah is the son of the current Home Minister of India Amit Shah and has been working in the field of cricket administration for the last few years. He has been the BCCI secretary since 2019. Also, as BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, it is up to Jai Shah to decide the schedule of domestic cricket.
