Anna’s agitation will start from Ralegan Siddhi on January 30, the day of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary. Hazare has also appealed to the supporters to participate in it from their respective places.

We have repeatedly made our demands to the government. I have also written to the Prime Minister and the Agriculture Minister five times in the last three months for these demands. After that, government representatives are coming here and discussing. However, no proper settlement has been reached on these demands yet. Therefore, now on January 30, 2021, on the day of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, I am going on a fast at the Yadav Baba Temple at Ralegan Siddhi, said Anna Hazare.

I am only going to fast from Ralegan Siddhi. Those who want to support me should agitate peacefully from their respective villages, at the Collector’s office. Anna also appealed to the people that it would not be appropriate to crowd at Ralegan Siddhi as the threat of Corona has not been averted yet.

He also said that he was saddened by the incident in the farmers’ agitation in Delhi. I have always been a non-violent activist. I have protested many times in the last 40 years. Millions of people had participated in the Lokpal agitation in Delhi in 2011. However, no one in that movement picked up a single stone. Gandhiji has taught us that peace is the power of movement. Hazare also said that there should be no violence in the movement.
