Mumbai, January 6: Mumbai Police has arrested the person who threatened Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar. The accused has been arrested from Jamnagar in Gujarat and a Mumbai police squad will arrive in Mumbai tomorrow with the accused. The arrested accused is identified as Manoj Dodhia, 20. Mumbai Police is investigating why he did this. A team of investigating officer Sub-Inspector of Police Vilas Tupe arrested the accused from Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar had received a shocking phone call threatening to kill him. Mumbai Police had registered a case against an unidentified person in this regard. On December 22, Mayor Kishor Pednekar received a call from an unknown person. He had threatened to kill her by swearing in vulgar language. The threatening phone call caused a single sensation.
