The Delhi High Court ordered the release of the person arrested in a narcotics case three years ago on bail. While hearing the matter, a bench of Justice Suresh Kumar Kait said that he sees something wrong in the investigation of the case. The bench said that prima facie it appears that the accused has been implicated. Therefore, an attempt will be made to get to the bottom of the case from the record and location of the mobile phone at the time of the incident.

However, the bench said that the main hearing of the case will not have any effect on the process and neither is the purpose of the bench interfering in that hearing. The bench said that according to the present circumstances, the accused is granted bail.

Explain that the accused in this case was arrested by Delhi Police on 11 October 2017. The advocate for the accused claims that his client was arrested from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. While his arrest and recovery of narcotics is shown from Delhi the next day.

It was on behalf of the accused’s advocate that the location and phone call record of his client’s mobile phone be summoned so that the truth can be revealed. It is known that the accused has been in judicial custody for the last three years.
