Navi Delhi: Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and husband of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, is likely to face increasing difficulties. The Income-tax department had sent a notice to Robert Vadra alleging misappropriation of assets. However, he did not come to the income tax office for questioning. As a result, only Income Tax officials have arrived at Vadra’s house and started a thorough investigation. His statement is being recorded and the inquiry has been going on for the last half an hour, sources said.

His statement is being recorded at Vadra’s office at Sukhdev Vihar in South East Delhi. Sources said that the Income Tax Department has started an inquiry into the land scams in Bikaner and Faridabad. Vadra did not face an inquiry at the Income Tax Department office due to the Corona epidemic. So he is being questioned today.

Bail in money laundering case, what is the case?

Meanwhile, the ED is already investigating the money laundering case. The case involves money laundering in a property purchase in Bryanston Square, London. The property was purchased for लाख 19 million and is claimed to be owned by Robert Vadra. According to investigators, fugitive arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari is currently under investigation. The role of Manoj Arora also came to the fore in the same inquiry, on the basis of which a case of money laundering was filed.

It is alleged that the property in London was bought by Sanjay Bhandari for लाख 19 million and sold in 2010 for the same amount. On the other hand, it is said that हजार 65,000 was spent on repairs and other works of the same property. However, the property was sold to Robert Vadra for the same amount.
