Permission has been sought for Muslims to offer prayers in the mosque at Raj Bhavan in Maharashtra. In this regard, Raza Academy has written a letter related to the approval of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

This letter states that the Uddhav government has given permission to worship in religious places with restrictions. Due to these conditions many people are deprived of worship in their religious place. In such a situation, permission should be given to offer Namaz in the mosque at Raj Bhavan. However, the letter also praised the Uddhav government.

Request to give immediate instructions
Raza Academy has written in its letter that currently five to seven people are not allowed to offer Namaz at Raj Bhavan. It is our request that instructions should be given in this regard immediately, so that at least in the mosque of Raj Bhavan, only the employees there can offer namaz.

‘… only then will God be blessed’
Earlier, while ordering the opening of the religious place, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had said, ‘The crowd will have to be avoided. There is no mandate to open religious places, but it is the will of God. Shoes and slippers will be kept outside the shrine premises and it will be mandatory to wear masks. If we follow discipline, we will be blessed by God.
