Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. Police have arrested MNS activists including Avinash Jadhav and Abhijit Panse.

Agitations in Nashik, Nagpur and Pune
In Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik and Nagpur, MNS had organized morchas at the District Collector’s office. Police had started arresting the activists even before the MNS march started in Pune. In Nagpur also, the MNS delegation met the District Collector and made a statement regarding the increased power bill.

Raj Thackeray’s appeal not to pay electricity bill
MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande informed that a statement was given to the District Collector of Mumbai on behalf of Raj Thackeray. “We have given Raj Thackeray’s letter to the District Collector on the issue of increased electricity bill. Raj Thackeray has appealed to the people of the state not to pay electricity bills. This time the election was held from the front. But if someone comes to the house of the people to cut the meter for the electricity bill, the Maharashtra soldier will not remain silent without giving an electric shock under their ears and it will be the responsibility of the administration, ”said Sandeep Deshpande.
