Cricket Australia on Tuesday airlifted players and staff members of Australia’s ODI and Twenty20 squads stranded in Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland to Sydney. All three states have closed their borders due to the growing number of corona virus cases. Therefore, there will be no break in the series starting from November 27.

The training bases of the Adelaide strikers in the Big Bash League and the players in South Australia have also been moved. The Big Bash League kicks off on December 10 and there will be no BBL matches in Adelaide until December 28, but this is a precautionary measure. “Cricket Australia has moved a number of players from Adelaide in the last 24 hours. Thank you to all the players and staff for their support, “said Cricket Australia’s Acting CEO Nick Hawkley.
