Famous comedian Bharti Singh on private channels was arrested by the NCB on Saturday in a drugs case. The NCB had raided three of her houses in Mumbai. At that time, 86 grams of cannabis was found in her house. Bharti was later arrested in the evening after a day-long interrogation. Meanwhile, Bharti’s husband Harsh Limbachia was also under interrogation till late last night.

The NCB team cleared three flats in Andheri, Lokhandwala and Versova in Bharati on Saturday morning. A stockpile of marijuana was found in the house at this time. The NCB summoned the two and took them into custody for questioning.

The names of comedian couple Bharti and Harsh came to the fore in the interrogation of a drug peddler in a drug racket case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Both are accused of taking drugs. Based on that information, the NCB team reached Bharati’s flat on Saturday morning. All three of her flats were razed for hours. Both Bharti and Harsh were at home when the operation started. During the search, 86 grams of cannabis was found in their house. NCB officials then summoned them and took them to his office. Both Bharti and Harsh confessed to taking cannabis during interrogation, said NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede.

Bharti Singh is a standup comedian and TV actress. She became popular due to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. She married Harsh Limbachia in 2017. She has acted in shows like ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Comedy Circus Mahasangram’, ‘Comedy Circus Ka Jaadu’, ‘Kahani Comedy Circus Ki’ and ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’.
