The operators of interstate buses coming to Anand Vihar, Kashmiri Gate and Sarai Kale Khan ISBT will have to fill the details of passengers’ name, age, mobile number, permanent address and place of stay in Delhi in the form. Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (DTIDC), which is looking after the ISBT, will convey this details to the district administration through Principal Secretary Revenue. So that these passengers can be monitored. This has been done in view of the increasing corona infection.
DTIDC has issued directions in this regard to the Road Transport Corporation of several states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand.
There are 3467 interstate buses daily on all three ISBTs. In which about 1.80 lakh passengers come to Delhi. Until now, records were not kept of who and where the buses were coming from. On the instructions of the Delhi government, DITIDC has sent a form to the transport corporations of other states. It has also been instructed that it is mandatory for the operator of each bus coming to all the three ISBTs to fill it. In this form, complete details of every passenger on the bus will have to be recorded. It has been made mandatory for travelers coming to Delhi that they should come here and write the address of the place to the operator. The operator will have to submit this form as soon as the bus arrives at ISBT. Only then the bus will be allowed to go on the platform.

Under this arrangement, a team can be sent suddenly to the address where passengers from outside will be staying in Delhi. They may also be subjected to thermal screening, antigen or RT-PCR screening. DTIDC officials said that even if a passenger conducts a Kovid test at their level, the district administration will get information. Then it will be easy to keep an eye on those whom he has lived here.
