Dehradun : Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat celebrated Deepawali with ITBP personnel at ITBP Camp Kopang Uttarkashi and Army personnel of 9th Battalion Bihar Regiment at Harshil Uttarkashi.

Many soldiers of Uttarakhand have served and are serving in these military forces. The Chief Minister said that my father has also been in the army, being from a military family, I also have a personal attachment to soldiers.
There is a sense of respect, reverence and trust of the country towards the army and the paramilitary forces. Our military force is considered to be the best military force in the world. The Chief Minister said that the spirit with which women officers are doing duty in such inaccessible and marginal areas is exemplary for everyone.
