Mumbai: MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar of Kandivali East Assembly constituency has been appointed as the in-charge for Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections. BJP state president Chandrakant Patil announced the appointment at the Mumbai BJP executive meeting.
“I will do my best to carry out this responsibility successfully under the guidance of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and State President and under the leadership of Mumbai BJP President Mangal Prabhat Lodha,” Bhatkhalkar said. The BJP has announced that it will contest all the 227 seats on its own in the forthcoming municipal elections.
