While 2,618 people have been sent home after recovering during this period. According to him, so far 5,09,556 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovering.

Lucknow. The outbreak of Corona Virus continues in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 25 more patients died of Covid-19 infection. At the same time, 2,036 new cases have been reported during which time the total number of cases in the state has increased to 5,41,935. Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said on Sunday that 2,036 new infections have been found in the last 24 hours. While 2,618 people have been sent home after recovering during this period. According to Prasad, so far 5,09,556 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovering.

He told that 24,575 patients are being treated at present in the state.

After the death of 25 people due to infection in the state on Sunday, the total number of people who died due to Kovid-19 has increased to 7,742.

According to the Health Bulletin released on Sunday, in the last 24 hours, the highest number of 342 people in the capital Lucknow, 230 in Meerut, 123 in Gautam Budh Nagar and 113 in Ghaziabad and 108 in Kanpur have been found infected. Lucknow has the highest seven deaths in the last 24 hours while two people have died in Gorakhpur.
