State’s Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said on Sunday that 2,036 new infected (Corona Virus) have been found in the last 24 hours. While 2,618 people have been sent home after recovering during this period. According to him, so far 5,09,556 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovering.

He told that 24,575 patients are being treated at present in the state.
After the death of 25 people due to infection in the state on Sunday, the total number of people who died due to Kovid-19 has increased to 7,742.

According to the Health Bulletin released on Sunday, in the last 24 hours, the highest number of 342 people in the capital Lucknow, 230 in Meerut, 123 in Gautam Budh Nagar and 113 in Ghaziabad and 108 in Kanpur have been found infected. Lucknow has the highest seven deaths in the last 24 hours while two people have died in Gorakhpur.
