Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing an election public meeting held in Malhani assembly constituency of Jaunpur district, has given strict warning to those doing love jihad. On Saturday, CM Yogi said that if the people who do love jihad do not improve, then the journey of Ram Naam Satya Hai is going to come out. Polling for the by-election is scheduled on November 03 in Malhani assembly seat. On Saturday, CM Yogi arrived here to campaign for the BJP candidate.
Addressing the public meeting, CM Yogi said that yesterday the Allahabad High Court said that conversion to marriage is not necessary for marriage. Should not be done. It should not be recognized. Therefore, the government is also deciding that we will work to stop the love jihad from being a force. Will make an effective law. My warning to those who play with sister daughters in this country by stealth, hiding names and religion. If they do not improve, then the journey of Ram Naam Satya Hai is going to come.
Explain that in an important decision, the Allahabad High Court on Friday said that conversion to mere marriage is not valid. While hearing the petitions of Priyanshi alias Samreen and others, Justice SC Tripathi cited the decision of the Nur Jahan Begum case, in which the court has said that it is not acceptable to change religion for marriage.
#WATCH Allahabad HC said religious conversion isn’t necessary for marriage. Govt will also work to curb ‘Love-Jihad’, we’ll make a law. I warn those who conceal identity & play with our sisters’ respect, if you don’t mend your ways your ‘Ram naam satya’ journey will begin: UP CM pic.twitter.com/7Ddhz15inS
