Delhi Capitals are considered strong contenders to win the IPL this year. He has won six of the eight matches he has played in the tournament so far. So this team is at the top position in merit. However, it is a matter of concern for Delhi that many of their players are suffering from injuries. Experienced bowlers Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma have already been ruled out due to injuries. His wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was also injured. So he has to miss some matches. Now their captain Shreyas Iyer is also injured.
Shreyas produces a brilliant stop, but stays down after injuring his shoulder 😥
Hope he is okay 🤞🏻

Can move shoulders
The match between Delhi and Rajasthan was played in the IPL on Wednesday. In the first innings, Delhi scored 161 runs with skipper Iyer contributing 53 runs. Iyer then hit the ball in Rajasthan’s innings to block the ball and at the same time injured his left shoulder. So he had to go off the field. In his absence, Shikhar Dhawan led Delhi in the rest of the match. ‘Iyer has a shoulder injury. The good thing, however, is that he can move his shoulders. I haven’t discussed it with him yet. We will know tomorrow how serious his injury is, ‘said Dhawan after the match.
