Virat Kohli 200th IPL Match: Every time Virat Kohli enters the field, a new history is made and a record is broken. Virat Kohli has set a new record in the 31st match of IPL 2020. In today’s match, Virat’s Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kings XI Punjab at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Kohli became the first cricketer in the world to score a double century for a team. The IPL match against Kings XI Punjab was Virat’s 200th match against RCB. He became the first cricketer in the world to play 200 matches for the team. Kohli has played 185 IPL matches and 15 Champions League matches for RCB. Notably, Kohli has missed just 4 matches from the Royal Challengers. He joined the Royal Challengers franchise in IPL 2008. Kohli said in his 200 matches from RCB that it is unthinkable for RCB to play 200 matches. I didn’t even imagine it in 2008. It is an honor to have him with me. Meanwhile, Virat has scored 5668 runs at an average of 38.55 and a strike rate of 131.41. He has also scored five centuries and 38 fifties. RCB, on the other hand, won the toss and elected to bat first against Kings XI Punjab. RCB has not made any changes in the playing XI. Punjab has made three changes. After 7 matches, ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle has finally got a chance to play. This is Gayle’s first match in IPL 13. Kings XI need to win today’s match if they want to continue their challenge to reach the IPL play-offs this year. Punjab have won just one of their seven matches so far this year and have lost six.
