At the Dussehra rally, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had targeted the BJP on the issue of Hindutva. When asked about this, Vikhe said, ‘If you think of Shiv Sena, they have given up all issues to retain power, they have given up Hindutva. Revered Balasaheb Thackeray, Chief of Shiv Sena, had supported that after the fall of Babri Masjid, it was demolished by my Shiv Sainiks. But today Shiv Sena has changed its role. All principles are wrapped up to maintain power. The people of Maharashtra are watching this with open eyes. The people of the state will ask for an answer.
This is the calm before the storm
Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has made a statement to throw saffron on the assembly on his own. Speaking on this, former minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said, ‘Shiv Sena’s slogan of self-reliance seems to be pre-storm peace. Why was there a rift in the Mahavikas front? Why is it growing? Why are they shouting slogans to fight on their own? Mahavikas Aghadi is trying to keep a handful of people in power, not for the people of the state. Give the slogan of self-reliance. All three parties in the state government have taken a stand that it does not matter, let alone Hindutva.
