Inflation has severely ruined the kitchen budget. In the last one week, prices of Urad, Masoor, Toor / Arhar, Chana dal have increased, while vegetables have created havoc. Potato, onion and tomato prices have seen a jump in the last one week. According to the data given on the website of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, onion rate has come out the most. According to data taken from 111 centers of the country, the average rate of onion has risen by about 38 percent. However, in different cities, onions sold at more than double the rate in many places.

These things became cheaper

Some things have also become cheaper in this era of inflation. According to the data, there has been a slight decline in rice, packaged mustard oil, palm oil, sunflower oil and soybean oil. However, talking about the rate of October 24, potato is the most expensive being sold in Solan and Shillong at Rs 50 per kg. The cheapest potato in Rampurhat is 30 rupees per kg. Talking about onion, it has come down to 100 rupees. Onions in Siliguri are 80 rupees per kg and in Rampurhat Rs 35. Tomato is the most expensive being sold at Rs 60 in Siliguri and Rs 30 at Rampurhat.
