Mumbai : The state government has not yet taken any decision on opening places of worship. The BJP has become aggressive again after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray gave a negative signal on Sunday about opening temples. The BJP went on a symbolic fast across the state to open the temples. So, yesterday, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari wrote a letter to Uddhav Thackeray and told him to open the temples.

After this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also given a blunt reply to Governor Koshyari. “What you have mentioned about my Hindutva in this letter is correct, but my Hindutva does not need your certificate. Also I don’t need to learn it from anyone. It is not in my Hindutva to welcome home those who call my state or my state capital Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with a smile. Have you suddenly turned ‘Secular’ yourselves, the term you hated? Why should we ask such a question? Are you saying that opening religious places only means Hindutva and not opening it means Secular? So don’t you agree that secularism is at the heart of the event in which you were sworn in as Governor? ” This was the counter-question he had asked the governor.

Now, Amrita Fadnavis, wife of former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, has also commented on this. “Wow administration! Liquor shops started everywhere in Maharashtra. So are the temples in a dangerous area? It often happens that you need a certificate to prove many things! ” By tweeting like this, he has lashed out at Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
