A married Dalit woman committed suicide in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district for allegedly not registering an FIR for gang rape for three days.
After the suicide of this woman, the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chauhan, taking the cases seriously, has removed two police officers. At the same time, making two outposts in-charge as co-accused, they have also been arrested.
Police has registered a case against five people in this case. Of these, a case of rape has been registered against three and a case of abetment of suicide against the victim has been registered against two.
Apart from this, two police officers have been attached at Police Headquarters Bhopal. Chichli police station in-charge Anil Singh and Gotitoria outpost in-charge Mishrilal Kudapé have also been arrested for not writing the report and due to negligence in the case.
The government suspended them on Friday. Police have arrested the three main accused involved in the gang rape. According to the information received from the police, a Dalit woman committed suicide by hanging herself in a house on Friday morning in a village of Chichli police station area of the district.
The deceased’s husband alleged that his wife was gang-raped. They were circling the police for three days to write its report. Instead of arresting the accused, the police abused her and locked her husband and brother-in-law in lockup.

Arrest the accused
The husband of the deceased said, “On September 28, my wife went to the village to cut fodder in the field. She was gang-raped. She returned home and told the whole incident. When we reached the Gotitoria police checkpost at night itself. But It was said that after taking the application for medical treatment on the second day, the report was not written the next day. “
On 30 September, he again went to the Chichli police station. But the police stopped the woman and her elder brother. It is also being told that money was taken from her husband to leave. After which the woman committed suicide.
Narsinghpur Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh said, “In this case, all the accused have been arrested. I went to meet the family and after what they told, two policemen have also been made co-accused and arrested.” Is done. “
Police has taken action against two police station in-charge under Section 166-A. Because of not writing FIR in it, it has been registered against him.
The victim’s sister-in-law told, “We begged the policemen to write our report. But they were not ready in any way. There were three policemen who misbehaved. That is why the sister-in-law committed suicide.”
