A court in Karnataka’s Tumkuru district on Friday directed the FIR on actress Kangana Ranaut to target farmers protesting on agricultural laws through tweets. Advocate L. Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) has asked the Inspector of Kyathasandra Police Station to file an FIR against Kangana based on a complaint made by Ramesh Naik.
The court said that the complainant has filed an application under Section 155 (3) of the CrPC and demanded an inquiry. Naik also comes from Kyathasandra, he told the news agency PTI about the criminal case against the actress that the court asked the police station under the jurisdiction to initiate an investigation by registering an FIR against the actress.

Kangana tweeted on her Twitter handle @KanganaTeam on September 21, writing- Those who spread misinformation and rumors on the CAA, which led to violence, are now spreading misinformation on the anti-farmer bill, causing the nation Fear. They are terrorists. Naik said that this tweet has hurt, due to which he had to be strong on filing a case against Kangana Ranaut.
Significantly, Kangana, who has been very vocal about actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, has come under target of Maharashtra government due to his statements. Questioning the Mumbai Police investigation, Mumbai was compared to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. After this, his fight on Twitter with Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut was intensified.
When Kangana left her home in Himachal, BMC demolished the illegal construction in her office before reaching Mumbai. However, the entire matter is still on trial in Bombay Hoicourt. Seeing the security threat against Kangana, the Modi government at the Center has also provided security to the Y category.
