At the same time, the company says that this indigenous vaccine of Corona virus is likely to be launched by next year i.e. by June 2021.

The Hyderabad-based company had applied to DCGI on 2 October to seek permission for the third phase of its vaccine testing. The company plans to include more than 20,000 people from 12 to 14 states in this trial. Sai Prasad, executive director of Bharat Biotech International Limited, said that if the company gets all the permissions on time, it is likely that we are aware of all the potential and results of the third clinical trial of vaccine by the second quarter of 2021. will work.

Kovaxin, a vaccine developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Virology of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), injects ‘killed viruses’ of the Kovid-19 virus into the body to develop a powerful immune system.

At the same time, the Serum Institute of India is also making ‘Kovishield’ the vaccine of Corona virus infection. It is believed that his work is moving ahead of India Biotech. It is being said that the Serum Institute has also started selecting people for the third phase of the trial. Sai Prasad said, “We are fully committed to do all our Phase-1, Phase-2 and Phase-3 clinical trials, but I think the government may also consider approving emergency use.”
