According to the data released by the Health Ministry on Saturday, 1069 patients have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, while a total of 1,00,842 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic. Let us know that the first death due to an epidemic in the country took place on 13 March. After that, the death toll reached one lakh in only 204 days. In terms of deaths from Corona, there are only two countries ahead of India. While 2.12 lakh people have died in the United States of America, in Brazil it is more than 1.44 lakh people.

Death rate is decreasing
Out of the total corona cases, 9,44,996 cases are still active, while 54,27,706 patients have managed to beat the corona. He has been discharged from the hospital. According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the recovery rate is at a high level of 83.84 percent and the death rate has come down to 1.56 percent.

Worst condition in Maharashtra
Corona has caused the most havoc in Maharashtra. A total of 14,16,513 cases of epidemics have been reported here and 37,480 people have died. It is followed by Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. At the same time, according to the data of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India conducted 11,32,675 sample tests in a single day on Friday. With this, the total number of sample investigations has increased to 7,78,50,403.
