New Delhi, Oct 6 (PTI) The Congress on Tuesday termed the affidavit filed by the Uttar Pradesh government in the Supreme Court regarding the Hathras incident as a “white lie” and claimed that the UP government should avoid the court-monitored probe and the case Attempting to cover. Party spokesperson Sushmita Dev reiterated the demand that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should be sacked from his post and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should ensure this. “The Congress party has been saying from the beginning that after what happened to Hathras’ daughter, the Uttar Pradesh government has repeatedly done injustice, not justice. He took every step to suppress the case. The state government’s affidavit filed in the Supreme Court made it clear. “All India Mahila Congress president Sushmita said,” The things the Uttar Pradesh government has said in this affidavit are white lies. The purpose of this revolt is to prevent the CBI investigation from coming under the supervision of the Supreme Court. “He said,” The government said that the last rites of the girl were performed with full custom, whereas it is a white lie. The whole country saw that the girl was cremated in the dark of night. A contempt of court case should be filed against the Uttar Pradesh government officials who prepared the affidavit. “Sushmita claimed,” It was also falsely told that the girl was not raped. The girl said in her last statement before she died that she was gang-raped. We strongly condemn this stand of the Yogi Adityanath government. ”Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinet claimed that several BJP leaders and its IT cell have tried to discredit the victim. He also alleged that Uttar Pradesh authorities used glossaries of cases related to America’s ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement to prepare the affidavit and the facts there were ‘copy-pasted’. Significantly, the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday requested the Supreme Court to direct a CBI inquiry into the Hathras case, saying that this will ensure that no vested interest can create false and false discussions. Apart from the alleged gang rape and death case, the state government has requested the CBI to investigate the FIR lodged in the state in connection with communal hatred, inciting violence, incident of inflammatory propaganda by a section of media and alleged conspiracy for political interests. It is known that on September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped in a village in Hathras district. The victim was killed at the Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday morning due to injuries, after which the body was cremated overnight. The family alleges that the local police administration forcibly cremated the body of the victim in the early hours of Wednesday without their consent. Four upper caste caste youths have been arrested for alleged gang rape and death of a Dalit girl.
