new Delhi: There is a rift between army and police in Pakistan. There are allegations that Pakistani soldiers kidnapped Sindh’s police chief, due to which the army chief has to give orders to investigate the case. However, he has given these orders under pressure due to the huge tension spread in Pakistan.

According to reports, the Sindh police chief was allegedly kidnapped and forced to take action against PML (N) vice-chairman Maryam Nawaz Sharif. After that, police officers in Karachi have threatened to go on mass leave in support of the Chief of Police.

Things like civil war in Pakistan
Sources in Islamabad have said that a situation of civil war is fast becoming in Pakistan with the ongoing conflict between the opposition parties, the police and the army. Sindh Police on Monday arrested Safdar Awan, the husband of Maryam Nawaz Sharif and son-in-law of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, from a hotel in Karachi. He was later released on bail.

The arrest came shortly after PML (N) vice-president Maryam criticized the Imran Khan government at a massive rally of the People’s Democratic Movement (PDM). PDM is a recently formed coalition comprising 11 opposition political parties and they have come together to challenge the Pakistan Army-backed Imran Khan government.

Bajwa ordered an investigation into the arrest
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, in a tweet, accused the army and the ISI about the incident. After this, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa ordered an inquiry into the arrest of Safdar Awan.

The Pakistani media quoted Bilawal as saying that a few hours before Safdar’s arrest, Sindh’s police chief was abducted by the Pakistan Army and its intelligence wing. Not only this, Bilawal insisted that the Pakistani Army had pressurized the Sindh Police to take action against Safdar.

At the same time, Don Newspaper said that a journalist has shared an alleged voice message of PML (N) leader and former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair. In this, Zubair is alleging that Sindh Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Mahar was kidnapped and charged with lodging 200 FIRs against Maryam, her husband and others for violating the sanctity of Quaid-e-Azam Modammad Ali Jinnah’s tomb. was forced.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (October 21), a huge explosion occurred in a four-storey building in Karachi, Pakistan, killing 3 people and injuring 15 people. Significantly, the blast took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal in the building opposite the Karachi University Muskan Gate.
