Mumbai : NCP activist Sanjay Shinde died in a car fire in Nashik. However, many news channels and websites used the photo of Karmalya MLA Sanjay Mama Shinde while broadcasting the news. Sanjay Mama Shinde commented that I am safe and used my photo in the news by mistake. He has posted on Facebook in this regard.
NCP activist Sanjay Shinde’s vehicle caught fire near Pimpalgaon Baswant Toll Plaza on the Mumbai-Agra highway due to a short circuit. He died in the fire. Sanjay Shinde is a grape trader from Nashik. He had gone to Pimpalgaon to fetch pesticides for the vineyard. His vehicle broke down near the overbridge on the Kadwa River. The car caught fire due to a short circuit. The sanitizer in the car made the fire worse. He was unable to get out due to the central lock of the car and died on the spot.

But while covering the news, several news channels and websites used a photo of MLA Sanjay Mama Shinde in place of Sanjay Shinde, who died due to name and party affiliation. This created an atmosphere of anxiety even among Sanjay Mama Shinde’s activists. Finally, Sanjay Mama Shinde wrote a post on Facebook in this regard saying that she is safe and cleared up the misunderstanding.
