Dharamshala Cricket Stadium: Since the India vs South Africa International T20 match held at Dharamshala on 12 March, all the HPCA stadiums in the state have been closed due to Kovid-19.

The meeting was unanimously decided that a standard operating procedure (SOP) format for HPCA and the concerned district cricket associations, incorporating the SOPs issued from time to time by the BCCI, the state government and the central government, would be important for sports activities. Will be prepared before committing. A virtual meeting has been held in this regard.

A four-member committee was formed

A four-member committee has been unanimously formed to prepare the SOP. The convener of this committee, Amitabh Sharma, will be Dr. Kinjal Suratwala and Dr. Suresh Rathore as members apart from co-convenor Dr. RS Rana and this committee will send the draft standard operating procedure within a month to the union secretary for further action.

Instructions will be implemented

Sumit told that HPCA’s SOP will be implemented according to the guidelines of the upcoming unlock of the state government and local administration. He said that for the remaining time period of this year’s sports calendar, it has been agreed to start cricket activity only after the guidelines of the administration and the state government. He informed that a four-member committee has been formed to decide the time and procedure for cricket activity. Sumit said that the SOP cricket stadium and grounds constructed by the federation would be applicable to the players, support staff, groundmen, office staff and visitors of the association, besides indoor, practice areas, various sub-centers and cricket academies.

The stadium is closed from March 12
