Former Chief Minister of India-administered Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah has given a statement regarding the removal of Article 370, which has been disputed.
He blamed the Central Government’s decision to withdraw Section 370 for the deadlock with China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Also hoped that 370 will be restored by the efforts of China.
On the question related to China, he said, “Whatever they are doing in Ladakh is due to the removal of Article 370, which they have never accepted.” May Allah help our people with this emphasis and 370 and 35A be restored in Jammu and Kashmir. ”
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah added, “I never called the President of China here. Our Prime Minister called him in Gujarat, made him swing. He also took him to Chennai and had dinner with him. But, he got this Did not like it and he said about 370 that we do not accept it. We are not going to stop till you restore Article 370.
He alleged that he was also not allowed to speak on the problems of Jammu and Kashmir in Parliament.

The Government of India abolished Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. After this, the state was reconstituted and divided into two union territories, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
The National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party, the major political parties of Jammu and Kashmir, strongly opposed it.
Many big leaders of Jammu and Kashmir were kept under house arrest for a long time. Among them were Farooq Abdullah and former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.
The detention of Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah has been ended. But Mehbooba Mufti is still under house arrest.
