Former Chief Minister of India-administered Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah has given a statement regarding the removal of Article 370, which has been disputed.
He blamed the Central Government’s decision to withdraw Section 370 for the deadlock with China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Also hoped that 370 will be restored by the efforts of China.
On the question related to China, he said, “Whatever they are doing in Ladakh is due to the removal of Article 370, which they have never accepted.” May Allah help our people with this emphasis and 370 and 35A be restored in Jammu and Kashmir. ”
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah added, “I never called the President of China here. Our Prime Minister called him in Gujarat, made him swing. He also took him to Chennai and had dinner with him. But, he got this Did not like it and he said about 370 that we do not accept it. We are not going to stop till you restore Article 370.
He alleged that he was also not allowed to speak on the problems of Jammu and Kashmir in Parliament.

BJP leader Sambit Patra has tweeted writing his statement, “Some people in their own country say this.”
Girish Desai, a user writes, “Farooq Abdullah should be arrested immediately and a case of treason should be registered against him. You have taken all the benefits in Kashmir, taken away the fundamental rights of the people and now you want to take help of China?”
User Sankalp Kak tweeted, “In any country it will be called treason. They first cheated Kashmiri Hindus and they are responsible for their massacre. Now they want this for everyone.”
User Vishal Raghunath tagged PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, writing, “Sir, we request that strict action be taken against Farooq Abdullah for the statement against 370 and he should spend all his life in jail.”
Another user Kesa tweeted in support of Farooq Abdullah, writing, “Farooq Abdullah was talking about the sentiments of the people of Kashmir. The Government of India should rectify its mistake, which the people of Kashmir and the people of India should be close to will bring.”
The Government of India abolished Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. After this, the state was reconstituted and divided into two union territories, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
The National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party, the major political parties of Jammu and Kashmir, strongly opposed it.
Many big leaders of Jammu and Kashmir were kept under house arrest for a long time. Among them were Farooq Abdullah and former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.
The detention of Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah has been ended. But Mehbooba Mufti is still under house arrest.
