Cinema halls, which have been closed for seven months due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, are reopening in many parts of the country from Thursday amidst infection with coronavirus. Since March, theaters and multiplexes are starting their operation from today under the guidelines issued under Unlock 5.
From today, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are the states where cinema halls will be opened. But the governments of Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Chhattisgarh have still decided to shut down cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes. North-eastern states have not yet issued any guidelines regarding this.
The multiplexes, cinema halls and theaters will re-open from Thursday under the guidelines of the standard operating procedure. The Ministry of Home Affairs has left the final decision in the case to the states. It is reported that the last film ‘Chhichhore’ released in the cinema hall of late Sushant Singh Rajput will be re-released in many theaters.
What are the terms and conditions?
Now that theaters are opening in the middle of Kovid, then their owners and people coming here will have to take care of many things. As per the Central Government Standard Procedure Procedure, spectators will be seated leaving one seat in the hall, only 50 per cent of the seats in the entire hall will be booked, masking must be done at all times, proper ventilation is required and air conditioner temperature is 23 ° C Have to be kept above.
There will be a big difference between the show timings. Social distancing has to be followed. There will be thermal screening of the audience. Necessary PPE kit will be given to the staff. It will be mandatory to give your contact number to the audience, so that if contact tracing is required then they can be easily reached.

PVR Cinema said on Wednesday that ten states and four union territories have given permission to reopen the cinema hall. PVR Cinema has 845 screens in 71 cities across the country. PVR is starting to operate 487 screens from Thursday and it is expected that other states will soon allow the operation of cinema halls.
The cinema screen will start from Friday 16 October and their website and tickets have been available from midnight on other platforms.
