The RJD has demanded adequate security for the Leader of Opposition and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav during the election campaign during the Bihar Assembly elections. For this, the RJD MP has written a letter to the Election Commission demanding immediate action.
RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha wrote in a letter addressed to Chief Election Commissioner India that I would like to bring to your attention that the forum does not have adequate security arrangements in the public meeting of Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Tejashwi Yadav and was made for him Helipads also do not have adequate security forces. The pilot has also complained that the heliped and the helicopter have pathetic security arrangements to control the crowd. The crowd may break the barricades and enter the helipad and damage the helicopter or cause an accident while flying. The RJD MP has urged the Chief Election Commissioner to direct the concerned officer to it without prioritization.
Dear @CEOBihar @ECISVEEP ..In spite of repeated requests, we find highly inadequate security arrangements 4 @yadavtejashwi in hia meetings as well as at #Helipads as a result of which anti-social elements cause immense trouble&ugly scenes. Please look into it pic.twitter.com/ozxfrOJGew

Barricades of helipad broke and crowds entered the restricted area
Let me tell you that in the past days, the police lashed sticks at an uncontrollable crowd at Tejashwi’s meeting at R Lal College in Lakhisarai district. During this period, there was an atmosphere of chaos. After the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s meeting ended at the Vijayadashami meeting held on Sunday, uncontrollable crowds broke into the barricading barricades to get a glimpse of him as he walked towards the helicopter. During this time, the paramilitary forces present to control the crowd also lathi, which led to the atmosphere of panic and stampede for some time. The crowd could be controlled after much effort.
