Lebanese local media reported today, Tuesday, that the Appeal Court in Mount Lebanon decided to release the husband of actress Nancy Ajram, Dr. Fadi Al-Hashem, after reviewing all the files, surveillance cameras and evidence, and confirmed that what he had done was a legitimate self-defense.
The Appeal Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, decided that the investigating judge should follow up the case file.
On Sunday, the same court issued a decision to arrest Fadi Al-Hashem, following an exchange of fire between him and a masked Syrian national, who entered the villa that resides with his wife Nancy, in New Suhaila in the Keserwan district, with the aim of theft, in order to take legal measures, according to what she reported National Information Agency.
It is reported that the house of the actress Nancy Ajram was stormed, at dawn on Sunday by a Syrian armed youth named Mohammed Hassan Al-Mousa, born in 1989 with the aim of stealing, but he was surprised by her husband, who was shot after he tried to infiltrate into her children’s room.
Nancy Ajram earlier expressed her anger at the arrest of her husband, saying: “Fadi Al-Hashem is the most noble person with what he did to protect his house and family and he must be released quickly.”
