ALMATÝ, KAZAKHSTAN (Sputnik) – Four people were killed and another 15 were injured when a bus overturned 85 kilometers from Kizilorda, capital of the Kazakh homonymous province in the south of the country, the Interior Ministry said.
"On the highway between Kizilorda (in the south) and Kumkol (near Nur-Sultan) a bus driver with passengers lost control of the vehicle due to the ice on the road and overturned; according to preliminary data, there were 50 passengers inside," said the spokesman of the Ministry Nursultan Nurajmetov.
The accident occurred 85 kilometers from Kizilorda, capital of the Kazakh homonymous province in the south of the country, Nurajmetov said.
"At 07.56 local time (02.56 GMT) four dead were found on the scene; 15 wounded were rescued," he said.
He added that the rescue operation continues.
