Poland is not an enemy of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Polish President Ange Duda said on Wednesday.

London – Sputnik. "There is no enemy. There is no enemy for us (NATO) today, only organizations of a terrorist nature," Duda said at a news briefing after the NATO summit.

"It is our neighbor, which we may not agree with in all matters," Doda said.

The Polish president stressed the need for negotiations with Moscow, noting that "Russia is a neighbor and partner."

Russia has repeatedly stated that it does not pose a threat to any state, while stressing that it will not ignore actions that could pose a threat to its interests and national security.
