Yemeni Prime Minister: The escalation of the Houthis in Hodeidah is an indication that they are not serious about peace

Yemeni Prime Minister Moin Abdul Malik said Saturday that what he described as an "Ansar Allah" (Houthis) group in its military escalation and repeated breach of the UN truce in the province of Hodeidah in western Yemen, despite the deployment of UN observation points, an indication that it is not serious in bowing to peace .

Cairo – Sputnik. This came during a meeting, in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, Governor of Hodeidah Hassan Taher, according to the Yemeni news agency "Saba", which broadcasts from Riyadh.
"The government is keen to bring peace, but at the same time, with the support of the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy, it will not hesitate to protect citizens from the oppression and violations of Houthi militias in implementation of the agenda of its supporters in Tehran," he said.

"The recent targeting of militias by the MSF International Hospital in Mukha and the previous targeting of humanitarian missions are war crimes that the international community should not tolerate or tolerate," he said.

Last month, the United Nations Mission in Support of the Implementation of the Hodeida Agreement, headed by General Abhijit Guha, deployed five points to monitor the ceasefire in the front lines of Hodeidah, liaison officers from the Yemeni army, Ansar Allah group and UN observers to stabilize the truce between the two sides.

The deployment of observation points and liaison officers from both sides of the conflict, with the participation of UNMIS representatives, would adhere to a comprehensive ceasefire, prevent any attempts to move or transfer military vehicles, and keep contact lines the scene of liaison officers' movements.
