The two leaders praised joint projects in the energy and military-technical fields and noted that by the end of 2019 the "Turkish Stream" would be operational. Special attention was also paid to resolving the Syrian crisis. They welcomed the results of the first meeting of the Syrian Constitutional Committee in Geneva.
In addition, the presidents of Russia and Turkey agreed on a plan for future contacts at the highest level.
