Russian President Vladimir Putin announced before the middle of this year that the decision of the United States on the exit from the treaty to get rid of medium and short-range missiles in the development of the Russian armed forces.

"However, changes in the political-military situation in the world, which affect regional and global security, must be taken into account," Putin said at a meeting on the development of the military-industrial complex.

He explained, I mean, above all, the US exit from the medium- and short-range missile treaty and many other factors. All of this requires us to continuously develop promising weapons systems based on advanced technologies. "

The Russian president revealed that the level of equipping modern equipment in the Russian strategic nuclear forces was 82 percent.
