Four people die in northern Brazil in a gas factory explosion

RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – Four people died after an explosion in a gas factory in the Brazilian city of Boa Vista (capital of the state of Roraima, in the north of the country).

"There were four dead, exactly the four people who were involved in the refill of the cylinders," the local Fire Corps communications adviser, Lieutenant Macsuel, told the media, published the G1 portal.

In addition, two women were injured: a worker at the company who fell after fleeing the explosion and a worker at a store in front of the factory, who passed out.
The two had minor injuries, are hospitalized and their lives are not in danger.

Firefighters did not report the cause of the explosion, although the main hypothesis suggests that it was caused by a human error when handling the gas cylinders.
