Russian Foreign Ministry: ISIL and al-Nusra have been destroyed in Syria

The main forces of ISIL terrorist groups and the banned Nusra Front in Russia have been destroyed in Syria.

According to Sputnik, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershin explained that the fight against terrorism in the country, including in Idlib, should continue.

"The Syrian people resisted, including Russia-backed, a decisive victory over terrorism," Vershin said at the UN Security Council meeting. Today, the main forces of ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and everything they are called and other terrorist groups that the UN Security Council knows about. "But the eradication of terrorists, including their main focus in Idlib, must be done with the utmost care for the lives, lives and security of the unarmed residents."
