Anniversary of the Russian House Berlin: 35 years of art, culture and science


On Friday, the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin celebrated its 35th birthday. On site, a diverse audience has come together to enjoy an evening of Russian culture. The visitors were inspired by a varied program of modern artists from Russia.

The Russian House of Science and Culture has been in Berlin on Friedrichstrasse for 35 years. It is considered an intercultural center with a wide range of services: from language courses for Russian learners to a cinema and theater hall for modern Russian artists to give them a platform in Germany.
Last Friday, the Russian House celebrated the 35th anniversary of its opening. According to the organizers, 500 guests were registered. An artistic program was prepared, as well as an exhibition of paintings and a photo wall. Performed by the Russian pianist Nikola Melnikov, who tore the audience with a grand piano and two keyboards in the spell. After that, the poet Ah Astakhova appeared with him and read a poem while improvising musically. The poet then presented her works solo. The cultural program ended with a performance by singer Tina Kuznetsova.
